01 · Introduction

Who we are and scope

FutureSpark Studio Ltd (“FutureSpark”, “we”, “us” or “our”) publishes QuoteGrid, an offline-first supplier quote comparison app for iPhone and Android. This notice applies to information handled through QuoteGrid. It does not replace the privacy terms of Apple, Google, your mobile operating system, an app you choose to share a file with, or your email provider.

QuoteGrid is intended for business purchasing and procurement use and is not directed at children.

02 · Information you use in the app

Information in QuoteGrid

You decide what to enter. Depending on how you use the app, local records may include:

  • supplier names, contact names, email addresses, phone numbers, websites and notes;
  • comparison names, project or quote references, required-by dates and comparison notes;
  • item descriptions, SKUs, quantities, units, categories, target prices and notes;
  • supplier quote details, including quote references and dates, item prices and quantities, delivery, other fees, discounts, tax treatment, lead time, payment terms, expiry dates and notes;
  • comparison status, history, selected supplier and the reason or note you record for a decision; and
  • app preferences such as currency, tax rate and appearance, plus purchase or entitlement status used by the app.

Supplier and contact details can relate to identifiable people. Only enter personal information that is relevant to your purchasing work, and make sure you are permitted to use it in this way.

03 · Local-first storage

Where information is stored

QuoteGrid stores supplier records, requirements, quotes, comparison notes and history in a local SQLite database on your device. QuoteGrid has no account, cloud database or cross-device sync, and does not send these records to FutureSpark.

The app does not include advertising or analytics and does not request camera or location access. It does not provide supplier messaging or external checkout.

QuoteGrid does not currently use a FutureSpark server to validate store receipts. The app uses purchase and entitlement status supplied through Apple’s or Google’s native store billing on the device to enable or restore Pro. This is not a server-side receipt-verification service.

04 · Files you choose

CSV imports, reports and sharing

CSV imports. When you select a CSV file in QuoteGrid, the app reads it on your device so you can review or map its columns and use the information in a comparison. The selected file is not uploaded to a FutureSpark server by QuoteGrid.

CSV and PDF reports. QuoteGrid creates report files locally. You choose whether to share or save a report and select the app or destination to receive it.

Other providers. If you send or save a selected file through another app, storage service or provider, that provider receives the file and handles it under its own terms and privacy practices.

Reports can contain supplier and contact details, requirements, quote prices, fees, terms and comparison notes. Check the contents before sharing.

05 · Optional Pro

QuoteGrid Pro purchases

QuoteGrid Pro is an optional one-time lifetime purchase handled through Apple App Store or Google Play where the store offers it. The relevant store handles checkout and payment details and shows its product name and localised price. QuoteGrid receives native purchase or entitlement status on the device and uses it to enable or restore Pro. FutureSpark does not receive full payment-card details through QuoteGrid.

QuoteGrid does not currently send purchase receipts to a FutureSpark server for validation. Store billing and transaction information is also governed by the terms and privacy information of the store through which you purchase.

06 · Messages to us

Information sent to FutureSpark

QuoteGrid does not send your supplier records, quotes or imported files to FutureSpark. If you email us for support or a privacy request, we receive your email address, message and any details or attachments you choose to include. We use them to respond and keep them only as reasonably needed for support, business records or legal obligations.

Your email service and the providers used to send, receive or store your message may also process it under their own terms and privacy practices. Please do not email passwords, verification codes, payment-card details or unnecessary personal or supplier information.

07 · Your choices

Your choices and deleting data

You choose what details to enter, which CSV to import, and whether and where to share an export. To change or remove supplier and comparison information, use the app’s controls or your device’s controls for app data. Removing QuoteGrid or clearing its data removes the local app database from that device, subject to any separate device backup.

Removing the app does not cancel, refund or otherwise change an App Store or Google Play purchase. Manage a store purchase or refund request through the relevant store. Store account and purchase records are handled by Apple or Google.

08 · Other services

Device backups and website access

Your mobile operating system may include app data in device backups depending on its features and your settings. QuoteGrid does not operate this backup service. Check your device or cloud-backup settings and the relevant provider’s privacy terms for details.

When you visit this policy page, the website host may process technical request information to deliver and protect the website, as described in the FutureSpark privacy overview. This website access does not connect your QuoteGrid records to FutureSpark. Your email provider may separately process support messages as described above.

09 · Intended use

Children’s privacy

QuoteGrid is a business purchasing and procurement tool and is not directed at children. The app does not ask for an age or require an account. If you believe a child has sent personal information to FutureSpark through a support message, contact us so we can review the request.

10 · Your choices under data protection law

Your privacy rights

Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law may give you rights to access, correct, erase or restrict personal information FutureSpark holds, or to object to certain uses. Supplier and comparison records stay on your device and are not sent to FutureSpark, so we cannot retrieve or change them for you. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office .

11 · Policy updates

Changes to this policy

We may update this notice when QuoteGrid or its data practices change, or when clarification is needed. The current version will be published at this QuoteGrid privacy policy URL, with the updated date shown above.
