01 · Who provides the game

Provider and app-store terms

ShiftBound is provided by FutureSpark Studio Ltd (“FutureSpark”, “we”, “us” or “our”). Apple App Store or Google Play terms also apply to your download and purchases. For Apple downloads, Apple's Standard Licensed Application EULA applies unless the store listing provides another licence. These product terms explain additional expectations for ShiftBound and do not remove mandatory rights granted by law or the store agreement.

02 · Using ShiftBound

Personal use of the game

Subject to your app-store licence and these terms, you may use ShiftBound for personal, non-commercial play on a supported device you own or control. You must follow applicable laws and the usage rules of the store from which you downloaded it.

The game is a puzzle and entertainment product. It is supplied as described in its store listing and any in-app information. We may update or improve it, and will explain significant changes where required by law.

03 · Your progress

Local save and device responsibility

Campaign progress, settings, cosmetics, personal records and the list of League players you block are stored on your device; no FutureSpark sign-in or cloud Campaign save is required. Blocking only hides that player from your standings on that device; it does not remove them from the League or notify other players, and it is not a report. Joining the optional online Rift League sends your callsign to associate your profile and sends a completed Daily Echo replay for verification when you submit a score. Your callsign and verified seasonal score are public on the standings when you post a result. You can leave the League in the app to delete your online profile and results. Leaving does not delete safety reports that are still being handled. Reports marked actioned or dismissed are automatically deleted 12 calendar months after their recorded resolution date (the report's resolved_at date). Unresolved reports are reviewed at least quarterly and deleted or anonymised sooner when no longer needed; they have no automatic expiry while unresolved. See the ShiftBound Privacy Policyfor details. Protect your device and use its backup features if you want a separate copy. Removing the app or clearing its data may remove local progress; operating-system backups are managed by their provider.

04 · Optional features

Purchases and advertising

If offered in a release, optional in-app purchases may include digital cosmetic items bought with consumable Gem packs and a one-time option to remove occasional adverts. Gems are used for visual cosmetics only, not gameplay power or puzzle solutions. Gem balances are saved on the device and do not sync across devices. Any prices, billing details and availability are shown by Apple or Google before you confirm a purchase. The relevant store processes payment, receipts, cancellation where applicable and refund requests under its policies. FutureSpark does not receive your full payment-card details.

Purchases do not provide Campaign puzzle solutions or gameplay power. Occasional interstitial advertising may appear only at selected Campaign result checkpoints; the game will request consent where required and includes settings to access ad privacy choices when the provider makes them available. 05 · Respectful use

Fair use and League community rules

Do not misuse ShiftBound, interfere with its security, or use it in a way that infringes another person's rights or breaks the law. Do not attempt to alter, redistribute or commercially exploit the game except where the applicable store terms or law permit it. These terms do not restrict rights that cannot legally be restricted.

If you join the public Rift League, your callsign and verified seasonal scores will be visible on its standings. You must not use an offensive callsign or one that impersonates another person, player or official service. You can report a callsign using one of the in-app reason categories; reports are limited to five per reporter in a rolling 24-hour period and are reviewed manually. Reports do not include a free-text message. Use the FutureSpark Support page if you have a concern or need to follow up. Report records are handled separately from League profiles and scores. 06 · Your rights

Consumer rights and liability

Nothing in these terms removes consumer rights that apply to you. In particular, we do not exclude liability where the law does not allow it, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory rights concerning digital content or services. If ShiftBound does not meet a legal standard, you may have rights to repair, replacement, price reduction or another remedy.

Subject to your mandatory legal rights, we are responsible for losses that are a reasonably foreseeable result of our failure to meet our obligations. We are not responsible for services provided by a third party under its own agreement with you, except where the law makes us responsible.

07 · Changes

Updates and ending use

You may stop using ShiftBound at any time by removing it from your device. We may update these terms when the game or law changes; the latest version and date will be published on this page. A material change will not take away rights you already have without a lawful basis.
